Hey kids!  We’re excited that you chose to check out our website.  If your family is thinking about adopting an animal, or you just want to learn more about animals, you’ve clicked the right button!

HOW YOU CAN HELP! 

There are SO many ways that kids can impact the shelter in a BIG way!  Here’s how:

 

Have a lemonade stand and donate the proceeds to the CMHS!  Not big on lemonade?  Host a bake sale, cake walk, garage sale, or any other “sale” to benefit the shelter. 

 

  

 

You’re parents already tell you that you have too much stuff!  This year for your birthday ask for donations instead.  Guests can bring monetary donations, dog or cat toys, pet food, or any other goodies for our animals.  Maybe your birthday has already passed… celebrate your dog or cat’s birthday instead.  Not only will your pet be honored, but our shelter animals will thank you too!   

 

Need to write a report for class?  Write about the Humane Society.  How does this help us?  If more people learn about the Humane Society, and the services we provide, they will be more inclined to visit (and adopt) from us!  If you have any questions e-mail Allison at src@cmhspets.org.  We will try to respond as quickly as possible, but please allow a few days to be safe!
