Staff

Employee of the Month:  Bennett

Congratulations, Bennett! Yes!  You read that right. Bennett has been hard at work being a great ambassador for the Bull Runs Program.

Did you know eight of his pitty family member have been adopted through CMHS? Sixteen were sent to rescues since he became the Bull Runs Ambassador. He also helps out with the dog and cat evaluations at the shelter.

Meathead– Oops! Bennett and Katie Steckel went to the Adventure Club in November. There were about 25-30 children there ages 6-8. They asked questions about the dogs and told Katie and Bennett about their  dogs, several also had Pits and loved that Katie brought one with her. Some asked about all the different types of animals we get at the shelter. After the presentation they lined up to all have a chance to pet Bennett before he left.

Bennett was a perfect gentleman and took all the attention in stride. The children really got a kick out of his tricks, especially “speak.” A parent walking in on the middle of a “speak” demonstration was a little shaken having not expected it.

We are so pleased to have him on staff and we are thrilled at the job he  is doing to raise awareness on what excellent family members Pit Bulls can be.  Great job, Bennett! Keep up the good work!

Exceptional Customer Service Award: Scott Wolcott

The Customer Service Award goes to Scott in January!

Scott has been with CMHS since November, however, he  has been a true asset to CHMS. Scott is an employee you can count on. He is such a hard worker, and goes over and above what is asked of him.

He is always on time, and will stay late if needed. Scott has been observed by man agent  and other staff members, interacting with visitors to the shelter. He has received many complements on his costumer service, his friendly nature, exceptional manners and knowledge of the dogs.

Thanks Scott for being a team player and for all you do here at CMHS. All the animals appreciate it, both four legged and two!
